A man was walking down the street when he noticed a family of ducks walking together. He soon realized that the ducklings were disappearing one by one into a drain, leaving the mother duck distressed and helpless. The man knew he had to do something to help.
He quickly called the RSPCA for assistance. The inspector, Jenny Bethel, arrived on the scene and saw the ducklings swimming behind bars in the drain. She knew she had to act fast to rescue them.
Using a fishing net, she managed to block the hole in the drain and rescue the ducklings. She put them in a box and set off to reunite them with their mother.
Bethel took the mother duck to a nearby lake and then returned with the box containing the ducklings. The mother duck recognized her babies and followed the box, leading her to the water.
Once they were all gathered at the lake, the mother duck and her ducklings happily entered the water together, rejoicing in their reunion.
It was a heartwarming scene, and Bethel felt privileged to have been a part of it. The mother duck was grateful that her ducklings were rescued, and the man who initially noticed the situation felt relieved that he was able to help.
